I would like to present you with Exhibit A: an excerpt from an e-mail I just got from work:
Last week we received a comment card from a person alleging someone was masturbating in the library. After talking with two staff members and reading the email account from a third staff person, it seems the situation was unsubstantiated, but a comment card was turned in nonetheless.
Beautiful. At least he didn't leave a mess all over the place like the creepster at the Main Library did. Only the best of the best come to the Dirty South Branch!
I am in a splendid mood. I love my life, I love (most of) my friends, and I love that it's January and it feels almost like spring outside. I drove with my sunroof open blaring music on my way to work today, and that alone is enough to put me in a great mood. Oh, and I'm wearing the new shirt I just got, and I have to say I look pretty cute ;)
HOWEVER, because I have been doing nothing but THIS....
....ever since I turned 21, I'm starting to get sick. Apparently I'm not cut out for the rock star life haha. I felt like death when I woke up this morning, my throat is killing me and I wouldn't be surprised if I lose my voice within the next couple days. Oh well, that week was totally worth it :) ESPECIALLY SATURDAY.
okay, if i haven't yet stated this enough over the past 3+ years, i would just like to reiterate that I HATE THE PEOPLE THAT COME HERE. some gross black guy just mouthed the words "call me" from across the library, as he held his hand to his ear like a telephone. no thanks dude.

i figured i'd put a plesant spin on things and update this thing for once instead of the old blog-a-roo. plus i'm fairly certain that i've exceeded my allotment of whiny&complaining posts over there, so i thought that i'd spare the world of myspace for a change. :)
so, to summarize:
i am in a slump. i've been in a terrible mood for the past week. it's one of those points that everyone reaches at some time, where everything goes wrong at once and then you explode.
instances that have aided in this include, but are not limited to:
-SCHOOL. holy f man. turns out college is hard. i finally decided to drop that bloody chem class, which in the big picture, was the right move, but when i think that i just can't wait to graduate and get a real job, i remember that i have three other chem classes to take. now FOUR. plus the pre-req that i need to backtrack and take now. so that's FIVE. i'm glad i wasted my first two years of college taking english classes.
-WORK. at the rate things are going right now, i'm probably gonna get myself fired before i know it. but let me just say that i have done nothing wrong in the past week that my boss has been pretty mad at me for. please, when i work every wednesday night for like 5 months straight, and you know damn well that i have class on wednesday MORNINGS, don't decide that one random week you're gonna end your consistency and for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON schedule me for a wednesday morning. when i should be in class. AND DON'T GET MAD AT ME WHEN I'M 45 MINUTES LATE. she's lucky i didn't go to class that morning, or i wouldn't have come in at all. fat bitch. try acting like the professional you claim to be and, while you're at it, lose the damn 90 pounds you've gained since your marriage. KJ:LKAJSD >:O
-OTHER MISCELLANEOUS BULLSHIT. (for the record, i totally just had to spell check MISCELLANEOUS.)
ANYWHO. it's just all those little things that normally shouldn't bother you, but they do cause you're high strung and easilly irritable from everything else. i totally got into it with jamie today. and by "got into it," i mean i cried like crazy and we got mad and yelled at each other like we used to months ago. amazing. NOT. let me tell you, i was so fucking used to doing that every day for months on end, it was just like a routine that i came to expect. but after i settled down, we haven't fought in months now, and today i realized that is one thing i DO NOT miss. and i never ever wanna go through all that bull shit again. i dunno what got into me today. it wasn't fun though. although i have every reason in the world to be mad for the reasons i was, it's just as much my fault. whatev.
i also don't like the fact that it will not be hot out again for another like 8 months. honestly, this weather is cold to me. and it's not even bad yet. i miss summer already :(
i miss a lot of people. i haven't been doing much of anything lately. i read a lot now. i read two freaking novels in a week, and i'm currently on my third. that's a lot for me :) but i hope this weekend is a good one. andrea's coming home saturday and i'm excited cause i miss my bff. i'm excited to see her and the rest of the girls i haven't seen in forever.
they say good things happen when you least expect them to, and so far in my life that's proven to be true. so, i'm trying really hard to just go with the flow and do what i need to do now and not worry about what i DON'T have right now.
and i think that just about covers it.

Other than that, everything's pretty much the same.
Boys (or lack there of) get to me far more than they should, and I've been angry at the world for the past like week.
I think Gina and I are going to see Reel Big Fish and MxPx on Wednesday though. I'm not sure though, and I'm supposed to help Frank with his t-shirt thing too that day, so I should probably figure it out soon. Also, the 4th of July is Tuesday. I'm also slightly excited for this.
Ooooh AND I'm finally working at the desk at the stupid library. Three years of putting books on a damn shelf I finally get paid more to do less work. It's really a beautiful concept.
OH! July 20-22 are basically going to be the three greatest days ever. I SERIOUSLY CAN'T WAIT. Canada, Brand New concert, and the Fab Four BLACK AND WHITE PARTY yessss. Holy f. EXCITEMENT.

Started school Wednesday. Despite having an 8AM class Mondays and Wednesdays, that's actually my good/fun day. Photography and English. I seriously love my English professor so much, and I know I'm gonna love photography. I have History and Science on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. blah.
I hate community college too. It's funny, you can tell who all the new freshman are. Here's a note to the ones who still think this is high school and that you can act stupid to be the center of attention: GROW UP kthanks.
This week has been crazy. A roller coaster of emotions and such. Last weekend was the worst weekend, EVER. Seriously. Well, Sunday was good. But, you know.. Saturday was definitely not. I thank my friends that were nice enough to tend to me in my crazy/crying/depressed stage. Seriously too, especially Andrea and Andrea that immediately left Mike's party to come and see me ♥. I'm still not sure if everything's okay with all that, but hopefully it all will be eventually.
Not only did THAT whole situation keep me down, but the friends portion of my life sucks right now. People call each other, people talk, people can say things about me to Jamie but not to myself.. and you know what? I'M SO DONE. It really hurts me when I think about that this particular person (or people, even) didn't value my friendship to her AT ALL. I'm so done trying to make amends to people too. People are gonna act how they want, and that's fine. But really, not even dealing with things like this anymore will be a lot less stressful on me.
Oh, and did I mention that my best friend now lives nine hours away? :(
I really REALLYREALLYREALLY wanna go to MSU this weekend.
I have a feeling this is not going to happen cause I work tomorrow, but something can be figured out, right? :D
